In this tract home, located in Carlsbad, CA (San Diego area) a bland, washed out bath was converted to an intriguing blend of warm finishes. On a tight $25,000 budget,  the home owners wanted design consultation on how to spruce up their master bath.  Like many tract homes they had the typical ugly oak cabinets with white tile countertops. For a quick face lift we replaced the face-frame cabinets with a more contemporary frameless cabinet stained in ebony. Flooring was replaced with warm granite. Glass tile backsplash and accents were added to the tub and shower to add interest and a splash of color.  See the before and after:
